Consumer ICs

 

The Group has been producing ICs (including die, wafer and COB) for consumer electronic goods. Its products comprise of 5 categories with 61 product series for 276 products. These 5 categories are: (i) Clocks and Watches, (ii) Music and Sound Effect, (iii) Lighting, (iv) Remote Coding and Display, and (v) Sundry. They are mainly applied in timepiece, music/audio product, flash-light, remote control, LCD-display, etc.

Clocks & Watches IC
Timepiece-controlled circuits, with 12 series of 40 products in aggregate. The timepiece IC can be divided into watch and clock chips. The watch chips can be divided into digital watch chip and analog watch chip. The clock chips can be divided into simple clock, alarm clock and alarm clock with snooze function. All these products can further be divided according to its pulse width (31.25 ms, 27.334 ms, 23.4 ms, 15.625 ms, etc.) or                                      its matching crystal accuracy (+ -20PPM, -20 to -40 PPM, -40 to -60 PPM, +20 to +40                                      PPM and +40 to +60 PPM).

Music & Sound Effect IC
Music/audio-controlled circuits, with 32 series of 201 products in aggregate. The music/audio ¨Ccontrolled circuits can be categorized according to the number of tones and notes. The Group has concentrated on simple tone with 768, 256, 128, 96, 72, 64 notes. With these different body of music/audio IC, hundreds songs can be produced by the chips. They were used mainly in toys, music cards, mugs etc.

Lighting IC
Flash light-controlled circuit, with 10 series of 22 products in aggregate. The flash light-controlled circuit can be categorized according to the number of lights that it controlled or the patterns it flashed. The Group has flash light-controlled circuit from 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 lights and many patterns of flashing method. They were mainly used in toys or kids shoe or LED lighting application.

Remote Coding and Display IC
Infrared remote-controlled circuits, with 6 series of 10 products in aggregate. The application for this type of products are TV, VCD, DVD, air conditioner etc..

 

Sundry IC
Other controlled-circuits (including computer-controlled circuits and joy-sick-controlled circuits), with 1 series of 3 products in aggregate.
