The Group is principally engaged in the design, manufacturing and sales of integrated circuits (IC). It is also a 6-inch IC wafer manufacturer in the PRC. The Group is the only manufacturer that owns a 6-inch wafer production line in the Pearl Delta and South China region. While most of the largest IC manufacturers in China are wafer foundries, the Group is a vertically integrated IC enterprise. It is engaged in (i) the IC up-stream business - manufacturing of monocrystalline silicon polished wafer (the raw material of ICs) and the design and manufacturing of ICs; and (ii) the IC down-stream business - packaging and testing of ICs.

The Group's major products include: (i) 6-inch monocrystalline silicon polished wafer, (ii) consumer IC (including die, wafer and COB), and (iii) power management device. The Group is also engaged in Wafer Foundry business. As part of its strategy towards both directions in horizontal and vertical diversification, the Group has also extended its research and development area into green energy sector in the area of LED lighting and solar cell related poly-silicon material manufacturing. The production of these green energy products relates to the Group's existing technology and know-how such as IC wafer manufacturing, IC packaging and silicon material manufacturing.

6-inch monocrystalline silicon polished wafer
Monocrystalline silicon polished wafer is the major raw material used in the manufacturing of ICs. The Group is engaged in the manufacture of 6-inch monocrystalline silicon polished wafers for internal use and sale to customers.

Consumer ICs
the Group has been producing ICs (including die, wafer and COB) for consumer electronic goods. Its products comprise of 5 categories with 61 product series for 276 products.

Power Management Device
The Group is currently engaged in the manufacturing and sale of Power MOSFET. It consists of 67 types of products that can be categorized into high voltage (36 types) and low voltage (31 types).

Wafer Foundry
The Group is also engaged in the provision of Wafer Foundry services to the IC design or fabless semiconductor companies which focused solely on the design, marketing and sale of semiconductors without internal fabrication capabilities. The Group can provide digital C-MOS metal gate processes from 1.5 um to 7.0 um technology and digital C-MOS silicon gate processes from 0.6µm to 1.2µm technology to these customers.
